Dear Mr. Kidd:
The purpose of this letter is to reject unequivocally your demand for any deletion of content from any of my web sites.
Any deletions from my web sites shall be solely for the purpose of editing typographical errors.
In response to the threatening tone of your letter, I shall hereby be so bold as to suggest a review of your previous
threats and the results. You threatened foreclosure on my home, then dismissed it after nearly a year of discovery and
expensive legal procedures. For a specified period of time, you had a legal right to bring the action of foreclosure again
but apparently chose not to do so. You threatened a suit on account and then failed to file such action. Further, I was
shocked when you literally ran from my service of a subpoena, fleeing into the confines of your office and locking your
door. As a consequence of your previous threats and actions, you and I have been denied the opportunity to settle our
differences in a court of law. As an officer of the court, surely you agree that our judicial system affords such
opportunities if only we choose to avail ourselves of them.
I am thankful that my grievance to the State Bar of Georgia, although dismissed after more than a year, did force you to
surrender the majority of my legal file for my inspection. It was gratifying to note that your demand that I pay for copies
of what was already legally mine was summarily dismissed by the State Bar as an illegal and irrational demand. I
respected the confidentiality of the grievance procedure during the pendency of the action, even though that year-long
wait produced no evidence of substantive investigation by the State Bar. Confidentiality is now unhindered and the very
existence of that grievance has now been verified by you. Are you now claiming that the content of that grievance
constitutes a ground for libel? I surely don't presume to give an attorney legal advice, but if I were you, I would think
carefully before attacking on such a premise.
You and I are evidently in disagreement about your honesty, competency, and professional code of ethics. Although I
was granted a jury trial on the issue of foreclosure, your dismissal of that action left a cloud on the title to my home. I do
look forward to settling our differences in a court of law; and to that end, I have filed Civil Action File No.
