Re: Libel

Dear Ms. Portman:

As you know, you have placed statements about me and others on your website at www.angelfire.com/ga2/portman. It is my position that the information on your website about me is false and maliciously defames me in my profession, and constitutes libel, pursuant to O.C.G.A. Sec. 51-5-1 et. seq.

I am hereby demanding that all libelous information on your website pertaining to me be removed, and that a retraction be posted on your website for a period of thirty (30) days. This includes the above web address as well as any related addresses. I am also demanding the removal of the link to www.clr.org which purports to list misconduct in the State of Georgia. If you fail to delete the referenced information from your website and post a retraction, you can expect a lawsuit for libel, in which punitive damages will be sought.

This letter will serve as my demand that proof of the foregoing retraction be provided to me within ten (10) days of the date of this letter.
