Dear Judge James:

Thank you for responding to my letter of August 28, 2000 so quickly. However, several questions now arise, as a result of your letter. Because they are procedural in nature, it is proper that I address these questions to you or your staff.

1.    How could Judge Nix assign the case to you May 10, 2000 if you were not the Administrative Judge until July 1, 2000? His order of May 10, 2000 identifies you as the Administrative Judge.

2.    Who is the Court Administrator for the 7th District and what is his/her address? Please correct me if my assumption is wrong, that he/she was in that position in May 2000 and is currently in this same position.

3.    Who WAS the Administrative Judge as of May 10, 2000 and what is his/her address?

4.    Who's responsibility was it to notify me of the assignment which you "understand" to have been made: Because I received NO notification, what is my right and responsibility?

5.    How do I properly request the assignment of this action?
